For more than 30 years, McGill’s has been Tulsa’s go-to upscale restaurant for prime steaks, fresh seafood, and unforgettable dining experiences. Locally owned and proudly rooted in Tulsa, McGill’s was founded in 1990 by Greg McGill and Hal Walker with a simple vision: combine the elegance of fine dining with warm hospitality and real value.
Today, that tradition lives on at our flagship location at 61st & Yale, where longtime partner Hal Walker and Amy Moss lead a team dedicated to serving the best food and providing the best service in town.
At McGill’s, dinner is more than a meal—it’s a moment. Whether you’re here for a celebration, a date night, or simply a great steak on a Tuesday, you’ll find an inviting atmosphere, attentive service, and dishes that keep Tulsa locals coming back decade after decade.
McGill’s is known for serving Tulsa’s finest prime steaks and seafood, but a few dishes have become true guest favorites. Our most talked-about entrée is the indulgent Pasta Lobster—rich, creamy, and unforgettable. Classic steak lovers return again and again for our hand-cut Filet Mignon and Ribeye, cooked to perfection. Starters like our Shrimp Cocktail and Crab Cakes set the tone for an elevated meal, while Thursdays are reserved for a local tradition: our famous Tortilla Soup, available only once a week and worth the wait.
To round out the experience, our bar is just as iconic as our kitchen. Sip on one of McGill’s famous martinis, explore curated wine flights, or enjoy a perfectly poured cocktail to complement your meal.
From timeless dishes to handcrafted drinks, McGill’s is where Tulsa comes to celebrate, unwind, and savor every moment.
Moss is very proud of the longevity of the McGill’s concept. Perfecting tasks such as hand selecting fish to assure premium quality and maximum freshness is just one reason she feels they have been able to stay so successful.

Went here for my birthday —amazing cheesecake!
You get the bruschetta! If you like wine, they have some of the best. For a red blend, not really dry or tart… more like a jam taste, I was recommended the Chronology red blend- California by our waitress.

This was our first time to visit and we absolutely loved it. The food was amazing, service was great, and the atmosphere was very intimate, elegant and calming. I normally don’t eat calamari, but ordered it for my wife and it was great. So light and delicious.

Went for a friend”s Birthday Dinner. I couldn’t be more happier with a place. Amazing food, service, atmosphere. And she got a Birthday cheesecake slice!

Very quick service. Food is excellent the French onion soup and the bread pudding are to die for. Friendly and quick staff. This is a great option for a steakhouse if you are in the Tulsa area. Also the drinks are heavy handed and i appreciate that.

My husband and I had the best romantic dinner here! Their cocktails were perfect and atmosphere was relaxed. Perfect for a couples getaway. And the food was so tender and some of the best french onion soup
